The Kalanchoë makes a great houseplant and will perform even better outdoors, though, like most plants, it will not tolerate frost. Apart from that, it’s ideal! Place it in a generously sized pot with other Kalanchoës on the veranda, on the terrace or in the garden. It prefers a sunny spot and even does well in full sun. These plants will produce even more flowers outdoors than indoors. They’re not that thirsty either; keeping the soil moderately moist is perfect. Providing a little fertiliser once a month is enough, and you don’t need to remove spent flowers. Bring the plants indoors before the first ground frost and simply continue to enjoy them!
