A Summer Surprise in Downtown Delft
Anyone walking through downtown Delft on Saturday, June 20, could hardly miss it: a giant pink shopping bag, a charming outdoor seating area, and hundreds of colorful Kalanchoë Garden plants put the city in a full-fledged summer mood.

Visitors to Galerie ‘Uit de Kunst’ were treated to a striking summer promotion. A total of no fewer than 1,000 blooming Kalanchoë Garden plants were handed out, packed in a cheerful pink bag along with care tips, product information, and fun “girl math” postcards. Before long, the pink bags were dotting the city center, and visitors took a little piece of summer home with them.

Your smart summer investment
During the promotion, visitors discovered why Kalanchoë Garden is so popular as an outdoor plant. The plant blooms for about 100 days on average, is easy to care for, and is available in various colors. With a relatively small investment, you can create a charming balcony or patio that you can enjoy all summer long.
The popular “girl math” trend served as a fun source of inspiration for the activation. The idea? If you create a cozy outdoor space at home where you enjoy spending time just as much as you do on a restaurant patio, you’ll quickly save money on those extra coffees, lunch dates, or drinks out and about. With a small investment in Kalanchoë Garden, you can enjoy a colorful and inviting outdoor space for a long time to come.

Summer has only just begun
The event in Delft kicked off a colorful summer campaign. In the coming weeks, Kalanchoë Garden will continue to inspire people via social media with plenty of ideas to make balconies, patios, and gardens even cozier and more colorful this summer.
