Kalanchoe Inspires Attendees at a Trend Event at Keukenhof

Kalanchoe Inspires at Trend Event in Keukenhof
In early May, Kalanchoe took center stage at an inspiring trend event in Keukenhof. During the gathering, interior design professionals, growers, stylists, and influencers discovered just how versatile this colorful plant is—and how well it aligns with the home decor trends of the future. With a trend presentation by Aafje Nijman, the launch of the Kalanchoe special in Mood.zine, and four surprising trend displays, Kalanchoe was firmly in the spotlight for the entire morning.
From Milan to the Green Industry Trends 2027
During the event, attendees reflected on the qualities that make the Kalanchoe so beloved: its long blooming period, easy care, and wide variety of colors and shapes. These qualities also align well with the preferences of a new generation of plant lovers.
Trend watcher Aafje Nijman then took visitors on a tour of the Green Industry Trends 2027 and the inspiration showcased earlier this year at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. She demonstrated how the Kalanchoe’s various colors, shapes, and uses seamlessly align with the interior design trends of the coming years.
This interpretation generated many enthusiastic reactions. Visitors were surprised by the plant’s versatility and discovered how easily the Kalanchoe can be combined with a wide range of interior styles: from calm and natural to colorful and bold.
Trends Come to Life
In the presentation space, four fully styled trend settings brought the 2027 Green Industry Trends to life. In each setting, the Kalanchoe played a key role, demonstrating how easily you can create a different atmosphere using color, shape, and styling.
Interior design professionals, stylists, and influencers, in particular, drew plenty of inspiration for new interior concepts, content creation, and store displays. At the same time, the various settings demonstrated that the Kalanchoë is surprisingly versatile at home as well and complements virtually any interior style.
To wrap up the event, all visitors received a goodie bag that included the new Kalanchoë trend cards. These trend cards are also available free of charge to professionals through the professional section of Kalanchoë.nl.
